Construction and calculation of internal combustion engines for road vehicles

Through this paper, the authors have proposed to contribute to the knowledge of the aspects regarding the construction of the component elements of the motor mechanism, their dimensioning and resistance verification calculation. Important aspects are presented for understanding the principles of operation and the solutions used in choosing the functionally constructive solution, the way of dimensioning the parts of the mechanism and for understanding the verification calculation algorithms.
