The basics of software development in the automotive industry

The paper entitled "Basics of software development in motor vehicle engineering" written by Mr. Voloacă Ștefan presents the tendency to complement and combine two main branches of engineering. These branches, mechanics and electronics, along with industrial development and the links created between them, made possible the emergence of the branch of mechatronics. The author presents a series of elements necessary, in particular, for young graduates of mechanical engineering or motor vehicle engineering, who have acquired basic knowledge related to heat engines, mechanics, vehicle dynamics, diagnostics, maintenance, etc.
