The name CRYOGENICS comes from the Greek word "kryos" meaning "cold".
From the point of view of the object of study, cryogenics is the science of producing cold.
The book addresses various aspects related to cryogenic fluids, obtaining cryogenic temperatures, heat transfer at cryogenic temperatures and cryogenic equipment. In addition, the theoretical considerations are complemented by the presentation of corresponding applications in engineering, energy, security, etc.
