This work was carried out based on the current legislative framework necessary to be known by judicial and extrajudicial experts in order to ensure a unified framework for the application of existing norms. It is addressed to master's students in the field of civil engineering, doctoral students, judicial and extrajudicial technical experts, specialists and real estate appraisers, who, at some point, must formulate an opinion on the value of a historical monument.
Starting from the Latin expression "expertus, experior", the technical expert, through his specialized knowledge, tries to prove a state of affairs that constitutes a means of evidence in resolving civil or criminal cases.
This work represents the first part of a large work that aims to constitute a guide for informing technical experts who administer the evidence with technical expertise having as its objective historical monuments.
