The paper presented, entitled "Studies on the effects of vibration on the quality of travel and comfort of railway vehicles", is a useful support
for the applications developed within the project activities of the discipline "Dynamics of railway vehicles", which is found in the curriculum of the specialization "Vehicles for railway transport".
For a better understanding of the issues addressed, the paper is designed to provide both the necessary theoretical aspects and calculation examples.
As the proposed objective is to evaluate the quality of walking and vibration comfort based on numerical simulations, the paper includes software applications, applications that can be adapted according to the particularities of the studied vehicle, parameters adopted, road characteristics, etc.
