After a definition and classification of chimneys, the volume presents in detail elements regarding the flue gases that are eliminated through the chimney, specific to each type of fuel from which they come.
The authors dedicate one or two chapters to the main types of chimneys: simple, with or without condensation, with an external air jacket, air preheater recuperators, recuperators for hot water supply, with built-in desulfurizing panel-type surfaces.
The last chapter of the book is dedicated to the forced draft installation for the evacuation of flue gases.
